Kenopsia is a record comprised of pieces composed by Hedonia (Side A) and Bouvier (Side B) which explores the sense of weirdness and melancholy attached to losing places from our collective and personal pasts.
Places at once mundane and banal but also filled with the wonder and awe of childhood and adolescence, what do we feel when the physical terrain that populated the psychogeography of our youth disappears or is transformed beyond recognition?
Do we become untethered in time?
Do we lose the glue to the emotional collage of our subconscious?
Are these new strange days, with no place permanent, all that lay before us?
